West Michigan Education and Referral Services is a State of Michigan Licensed agency, offering Substance Abuse Education and Prevention services.  We offer several programs to aid those individuals who meet the criteria for substance abuse education, but do not meet the criteria for inpatient substance abuse treatment.  We offer Substance Abuse Assessments and Drivers License Appeals. West Michigan Education and Referral Services is dedicated to implementing a multi-disciplinary, group interaction approach, to all courses. 

 Our programs are designed to:

• Reduce repeat alcohol and/or drug related offenses
• Provide Educational services aimed at improving coping mechanisms
• Enhance personal growth, enabling the participant to meet personal needs and to reduce the risk of developing problems that might require inpatient substance abuse treatment.
• Increase awareness of state laws and how they affect each person financially, emotionally and legally.

West Michigan Education and Referral Services, Inc. is dedicated to serving each community.  Courses will be offered to Kalamazoo, Berrien, Jackson,Cass, Calhoun, St. Joseph, Van Buren and surrounding counties.  We will strive to meet the needs of our clients and customers, and we welcome any suggestions and feedback related to the courses offered.
